At HCLTech, we had the privilege of participating in the tree-planting volunteer initiative organized by AFZ. It was a truly rewarding experience that strongly reflected our core values and our company's commitment to sustainability. We enjoyed a meaningful day immersed in nature, planting trees, connecting with colleagues, and strengthening teamwork—not only within HCLTech, but also alongside employees from other participating organizations. The volunteer activity at Hacienda Barvak brought together employees from multiple companies with the shared goal of reforesting designated areas of the property to help preserve its native flora and fauna. While the experience was physically demanding, it was equally rewarding on both a personal and ethical level. The event was exceptionally well organized. The team adhered closely to the published schedule, ensured activities ran smoothly, and provided all the necessary equipment and guidance to complete the tasks effectively. The introductory briefing was clear, concise, and well structured, allowing everyone to get started with confidence. Beyond the environmental impact, the experience offered a valuable opportunity to appreciate the breathtaking scenery, fresh air, and natural surroundings—something many of us who live and work in urban environments rarely have the chance to enjoy. Initiatives like this not only contribute to environmental conservation but also strengthen employees' sense of social responsibility, teamwork, and community engagement. Stepping away from our daily routines for a few hours to make a meaningful contribution was both refreshing and inspiring. 10/10 — I would gladly participate again.
